They were young and tan,
When they first wrote love letters in the sand.


The Hawaiian sun shone down,
And the waves lapped the shore with a soft sound.


Their senses were warmed by the fragrance of the Plumaria trees,
And Tiki torches lit the night with romance on the pali breeze.


She was left on the pali in a grave near the sea,
And he came back to write 'U + Me Forever' for her spirit to see.
