Riding the waves I feel alive!
Wind and seaspray on my face
A narrow board beneath my feet
I hang ten with style and grace
Free as birds are in the air
I ride atop the curling wave
I am unconquered, will not fall!
I am unfettered, fearless, brave!
The wave has landed, I am ashore
I turn and wade into the foam
Then on my board, I paddle out
Back to the ocean, my briny home
I am patient, yet impatient
Waiting to catch the perfect wave
It holds me captive, it binds my mind
I live to surf, I am its slave.
