In the world of hope and dream
I search for a fulfillment
and when I have reached the place
where all my longing drives me -
when into the grove I plunge
between the two pillars
seeking relief from the demanding heat -
and between the columns I see
the fountain of my dreams
where my thirst will be quenched -
then the nectar
of that magic fountain
I will drink
and be fulfilled.
I will rest
nor need to dream again.
