My mind wanders back to you
Tho I've tried to stop the thoughts
You are so very far from me
My meandering comes to naught.

Our meeting was so long ago
Why do I think of the past?
What good to think of days gone by?
How long will this meandering last?

My wand'ring thoughts are like a stream
Flowing without a care
Thinking about seeing you once more
Not knowing when or where.

Thoughts ajumble in my mind
Helter skelter without grace
I'm sure that I'll see you again
Another time, another place.
