Sometimes we change
And others do not
Then the friendship
Goes quite to pot

Sometimes a friend
Turns out to be a louse
Telling your secrets
To some other house

Sometimes we grow up
Our friend may not do
That is when the friendship
Gets lost in the blue

Sometimes one says
Something to cause hurt
When brain is out of gear
And mouth brakes spurt

Sometimes if you ask
What could be wrong
Then apoloize profusely
The friendship grows strong

But sometimes you do
Nothing at all for all this
And the friendship leaves
Without even a kiss

You just have to forget
And find someone new
No sense in crying about
A little ruined stew
