Variable May Snow - green start of the big scene Wondrous each day Trees and daffodils Brown and white to summer green Nature full of change Nest building in trees For the birds do sense the change Variable terrain Warm becomes sunshine Thoughts turn to love and green things A big smile it brings The fragile flowers So much beauty to us bring Some look some do eat Dormant grass so green Clumps spring up quickly it seems Soon will have to mow Each year such delight Three score and two lustrums seen How many do I greet   © By Tom (tomWYO@aol.com)   Watch these pages for more poems by Tom.
