They say; "Wisdom comes with age."
But are "They" always right?
I refuse to live in a cage.
And don't always sleep at night.
When I was young the path I saw
Seemed bright and a little narrow.
Much, much later I have seen the flaw
Of just following the arrow.
Is youth really wasted on the young?
As they walk along life's highways.
Us elders' roads are more far flung
And we can travel on the byways.
How dull, doing only what you know.
Such thinking can keep you stupid.
I will travel where the wild winds blow,
And even tickle Cupid!
