I sit, and I overlook the sea
Watch the waves break o'er the sand
Oh, would that I could always be
Part of this seagreen pastel land
The emerald water, green as jewels
Sand castles built along the shore
The white capped waves like rolling spools
Will always bring me back for more
I watch the groups of pelicans soar
In graceful patterns 'gainst the sky
And see the dolphins off the shore
Playing and jumping up so high
Nothing seems to bother me
As I sit here in the blazing sun
I look out over the emerald sea
And watch the sun set when day is done
