Oh Hollyhock standing tall,
My, how pretty you are,
But oh please,
Get that bumblebee away from me.

Let me smell your large blooms
And admire your pretty color.
Let me stand and look up to you,
As so tall, you have grown.

Many varieties, many types
Do along my wall grow,
Adding beauty to the row,
Making others take note of you.

Please, oh please Hollyhock,
Shoo away that bumblebee,
So your beauty I may up close see,
So I can your petals sniff.

Hollyhock, oh so pretty,
Guess I will just look from here,
Stand back and with perspective look,
And hope you last until it frosts.
