Silver shot mysteries implode,
sparkles rain a
mockery of minerals.
Metaphysical moments stretch
one eternity
at a time.

You are gone!
My bed is empty
and an
ocean's vastness across.
Your favorite chair
mourns the
loss of your weight.
The house echoes with never..
Never your footsteps
or your laughter.

Oh, my heart…
For us there is no never.
I hear your laughter in the wind.
I feel your touch in my dreams.
Your kind face smiles
at me
with laughing eyes
as I walk
solitary
day to day.

Our time is without end.
as long as I live
you do too.
For us
there is
no end of never.
