Orange, a word without a rhyme
Must be said in Fall sublime
Orange trees and TU Jerseys
Pumpkins orange, ripenin' time.

One day a hot orange wind blows,
Next day could bring flurries of snow
Stew comes out with tomatos in
Orange carrots - so grandly fillin'

State Fair time, Big Tex and "Howdy Y'all"
Jack-o-Lantern lights, burnished colors of fall
Next week will fight Oklahoma and Texas U
S'pose I'll have a corn dog or two.

Orange and purple sunsets now,
Even Tom's e-mail is orange somehow.
Think I'll go buy some new orange shoes,
To wear with brown, green, anything I choose.
