A few seeds planted
Watch and they may grow
Waiting for it to happen
The going is terribly slow
A few green sprigs
A vine spreads on the ground
Flowers appear there
Turning to fruit so round
It's little fruit at first
Then bigger pumpkins come
Soon to be picked by kids
Out to have some fun
Faces carved on each
Seeds saved for another time
To grow more pumpkin patches
Oh wouldn't that be fine
