Placid pond, trees so still
The sun high in the west
The breeze is warm and pleasant
You think this day's the best

Suddenly the clouds roll in
Sun disappears from sight
The rolling, roiling thunderhead
Can give one a real fright

The trees bend low and kiss the ground
Temperature drops so fast
The pond is bubbling with the drops
How long will this storm last?

All at once it's still again
The sun is back in sight
The rain is gone and all at once
The landscape seems so bright

This has been a preview
What is coming very soon
The cold, the wind, and snowstorms
Come quickly, month of June
