What a bountiful harvest
The most glorious of crops
Came to us this beautiful year
After many days of rain drops
Wouldn't it be wonderful
Sharing with the world's poor
To place a basket of food
At each and every door
If no child went hungry
No war threatened their life
And all the miseries left them
With no problems or strife
What a bountiful harvest
Some of which we could part
To share with a few unfortunate
Let us give from within our heart
