He rode upon his pony
Galloping here and there
She was a ballerina
With ribbons in her hair
She cuddled her baby doll
A mother she would be
He wore a fireman's hat
That's who he was you see
He sat high up on a limb
Making rumbling sound
He now was an astronaut
Soaring above the ground
She placed her dolls in a row
All with paper and pen
She was now their teacher
Lessons were to begin
A child's version of career
Is wondrous to see
Planning for their good future
Ever so happily
