I like to be unique at the Christmas season.
I have a rhyme for every reason.


Thoughtful consideration goes into each unique gift.
I think of the person that I care for and through my mind sift.


Not just any gift will do, and not a fad or sale.
It must be wonderful and make everything in comparison pale.


The cost is not the issue nor is it asked for in advance.
It is planned and made or purchased in just the right circumstance.


It must be something of genuine use but nostalgic and heartfelt.
When it is opened it makes their hearts melt.


Long after I'm gone, the gift will be remembered and looked longingly upon.


The Christmas gift should be one of wonder and delight,
Given with much pondering and insight.
