When I'm shopping at Christmastime,
I have lunch and often a coffee break,
If I'm shopping in the late afternoon,
I'll stop for a Starbucks shake.

Today I had a lot to buy,
And so I visited many shops,
I even saw a movie in between,
Then made a few more stops.

My shopping's finished for this year,
I filled up on every snack and treat,
For I cannot shop successfully,
Unless I stop to eat.
