Hugs and kisses come natural
For most it would appear so,
I wasn't brought up that way,
Demonstration of feeling was to fear so.


I shied away from any,
Who would try an arm around,
I wonder where I'd be
Had I learned affection abounds.


Time has a way of teaching things,
And my first kiss from a lanky lad,
Turned my heart upside down,
He was my Sir Gallahad.


So kissing and hugging's okay with me,
But if not meant, don't make it a sham,
Lace it with plenty of sincerity,
And I'll give it back with a bam!
