as i sit and ponder 'oer my years on earth,
sometimes i frown and somtimes i express mirth,
i was a babe, then i grew up,
i had babies, and a brand new pup.


i aged and learned life's lessons well,
the lessons learned will keep me from hell,
for heaven-bound i am, i know,
the Heavenly Father told me so.


for His patchwork quilt that He designed,
has a square with me in mind,
i know this knowledge comes from above,
for He is and always will be, the masterpiece of love.
