If you can love in spite of instead of because of,
You will know the true definition of love.

Unconditional love has no strings and expects no return.
It is the love that we all should learn.

When life is hard and trials beset us on every hand,
Agape love can against the tides of life stand.

Though we be wracked by sorrow and afraid of tomorrow,
From unconditional love strength we can borrow.

When the dawn breaks over yonder mountain peak,
Agape love shines on us gentle, mild, and meek.

“And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three;
But the greatest of these is love.”
