The day was so perfect
to walk in the sun,
the wind blew
kisses in our
faces and
it felt so
nice.

The green of the bushes and trees of that park
were the quiet witness we wanted to have
while we were together
planning our lunch
that day.

The thought of a blanket to lie on the grass
was mixed with great pleasure.., but
what we desired was not in the
hands of destiny.

The basket was empty
nor had we the time
for one strawberry
that crossed
our mind.

Pity!
