Through dark and bitter days;
Days filled with hard labor;
Fearful, bleak days,
You were there.
I didn’t know, was not aware.
Through joyful days,
Carefree days, sunny days,
Taken for granted days,
You were as surely,
As a mother knows her child, there.
In old and aged days,
Wrinkled days, infirm and idle days,
Sorrowful, peaceful days,
You are here.
I know, your everlasting care.
