I look out, see cars and trucks go by
A hurry they pass, a lane on my side
Oh, that's not all, a lane on other side
My eyes take turns looking both sides.

Try a dare to count but done gone by.
Seem signals both ends, no count now
Wait, come again, some fast some slow
Never mind, as my eyes move to snow.

Night before snow come down so slow
Been coming thick non-stop before noon
Snow gives light, sun not come so soon
A deep blanket of white sure to glow.

A better sight, oh so pretty a show
Spring not come, back to boots again
Snow cover, winter took over domain.
