Say a prayer for the children without a Mother to care.
Say a prayer for the children who sit and stare.

Say a prayer for the children who are abused.
Say a prayer for the children who are lonely and confused.

Say a prayer for the children whose Mother is in jail.
Say a prayer for the childís Mother who from alcohol and drugs is pale.

Say a prayer for the children dirty, hungry and running the streets.
Say a prayer for their Mother who you would not want to meet.

Say a prayer for the children in war torn lands.
Say a prayer for their Mother who sits on sinking sands.

Say a prayer for the children in Foster Care,
And for those in orphanages whose lives are bleak and bare.

Those who are blessed with Motherís both loving and kind,
Say a prayer for the children lost in a world of hate and crime.

This Motherís Day say a prayer for the children of unfortunate circumstance.
Say a prayer that in the future they might have a second chance.
