Just one day? not everyday?
Just a gift and flowers and be on your way?
One of these days you'll not be able to say
"I love you, Mom"

There'll come a time you'll pick up the phone
only to realize she's no longer at home
and you think about the chances you've blown
to say, "I love you, Mom"

Don't let the days with her pass by
One day they'll be gone and you'll wonder why
Then it's too late, and you say as you cry
"I love you, Mom"
