I look to the East,
the horizon I do observe,
wondering what this new day will hold.
Will it bring much needed rain?
or will it bring suffering and pain.

I look at the clouds, I look at the trees,
wondering what will happen to me.
Will I keep plodding along,
writing simple words,
wishing they were a song?

Or will I be run over by a truck,
fall off the roof, or get zapped
by a bolt?

Kismet is the answer to that.
Remember Howard Keel singing
Desert Song?
