how do they keep their equilibrium intact
what activities give delight to their days
is theirs all work, survival, no play
chores daily rondos without ending
‘one time only’ segueing, blending
always a lyric without a high note
“working on a chain gang” without a vote
how their lives play out and are enacted
unaware their high wire act has impacted
one human being on a Sunday morn
jealously watching their freedom
