Shadows long, shadows tall
Shadows of flowers on a wall
Shadows of trees upon the grass
Reflection's, like shadows on the glass
Short at noon, long at six
Fat sometimes or skinny as sticks
Shadows made by a minute thing
or huge, and covering everything
Shadows, black over every part
of the world at the breaking of a heart
Shadows, formed by the block of light
disappear in the blackness of the night
