Suddenly

(in Haiku and Tanka)

My mood is disturbed.
While taking a needed nap
I hear a thunder.

I get up quickly
rush to the window
in order to see outside.

Looking at the sky:

the clouds run away
the force of the wind is felt
leaves and branches fall.
The ground becomes a carpet
ready for a good clean up.
