The wheel of fortune goes spinning round.
Who knows what will be going down.

Everyday a new disaster appears in the news.
Each and every American has his and her views.

The wheel of fortune goes spinning round.
Who knows what will be going down.

The Middle East is a growing problem each day.
You and I at the gas pump will pay.

The wheel of fortune goes spinning round.
Who knows what will be going down.

Unbalanced people reign supreme with horrible crimes and schemes.
The media plays them out like nightmares, a myriad of horrific dreams.

The wheel of fortune goes spinning round.
Who knows what will be going down.

Poverty, crime, natural disasters play out on every hand.
Is this the end of time for our world, our land.

The wheel of fortune goes spinning round.
Who knows what will be going down.
