Hello December, hello Yule
The boughs do so piney smell,
Lop some boughs, gather some Holly,
For it is time to decorate.


Lots of red ribbon shiny,
Broad for bows so ornate
Holly berries and mistletoe
With the right fir boughs so pretty


Decorate the door, the windows too,
And do not forget the front yard.
None of these wire animals,
But the old fashioned way.


Not miles and millions of small lights
But the old fashioned
Decorations
The ones we do so well remember.


So decorate and fun have,
But above all
Remember the spirit
Recall the why of the season.
