I'm a little Dutch girl, born in PA,
We were all brought up in a different way.
We went to Sunday School,
Never talked back, followed the rules.

It was very nice, fun times, then keen.
We were hardly ever treated mean.

Then the world had to change,
Guns, gangs, drugs, it all still seems strange.
Sometimes I want to stay that little girl,
The one who had all those curls...
