Once again this Easter, we will hide the plastic eggs. When the children are turned loose, smallest first, they scurry about the yard hunting colored eggs. Each carries a pail or basket to gather the eggs in.

This year the treasure eggs will have a gold dollar inside. Once all the eggs are found, the kids beg uncles to hide them all again.

Once more the egg is important for this holiday. We hide eggs, dye eggs, pickle eggs, devil eggs, a big part of the holiday. Symbolism it seems. My gram made Easter bread with a dyed egg in the center.
