I hear the sound of sunshine
You may wonder at that sound
It's happy song birds singing
Flowers popping up from ground
It sounds like contented warmth
And children playing outside
Fun swimming in yonder lake
And slipping down a parks slide
Warm sunshine sounds like laughter
As people go for their walks
It sounds like jay birds in trees
Chattering blue jay type talk
I hear the sound of sunshine

It's the laugher of a child
Spinning on merry-go-round
Sunshine is the crackling
Of leaves crunching under feet
It's the sound of ice cream truck
Small children race out to meet
