Day Tripping in Spring
Wildflowers abloomin'
with colours so rare;
fragrances wafting
adrift in the air.
Bluebonnets~Texas state flower
what a beautiful weed;
fields brushed with God's
paintbrush, so lovely, indeed!
Road sides asplash with
buttercups n indian paint brush;
breathtakingly beautiful
well, it gives one a rush!
Springtime's day~trippin'
up to old Brenham town;
home of Blue Bell ice cream,
none better to be found.
While there we'll
visit tha monestary quite quaint;
those miniature horses so darlin'
nuns raise em must be saints:-)
What a road~trip divine
things to see, taste n touch;
Spring thanks for tha visit,
we enjoy you SO MUCH!
