Another Memorial Day
Eighteen years he was
A marine he always wanted to be
now taps they play
As they lay him in the old cemetery
Except for the bandage about his head
He looks just like the man who left to volunteer.
Eighteen years old
His name is on the wall
How we miss him
Viet Nam he went
So proud to wear the uniform
We cry for him still
So young and proud
Proud we are too
As are his five siblings
