I’m a truck tire fixing man
ten hours a day I fix their tires
keeping them trucks on the road
then I go have a beer
twang, bang twang, twang
I’m a truck tire fixing man
my woman she works at Wallymart
smiles and says, “find what you wanted?”
seven kids done come along
lord o’mercy why don’t I
keep my breeches zipped
twang, bang twang, twang
I’m a truck tire fixing man
get drunk and shoot pool on Friday night
spend too much, that causes the fight
boy I wish
I could drive a rig
open road just a continually a going
twang, bang twang, twang
I a truck tire fixing man
hear them trains a passing by
lord I wonder bout the wandering life
snotty noses, coughs and colds
woman wants a new tattoo
twang, bang twang, twang
I’m a truck tire fixing man
lost the engine in my pickup truck
dang, the tires are a getting bald
day care going up
lord, you seen the price of snuff
mean the world for folks like me
dang I am going deeper in debt
twang, bang twang, twang
I’m a truck tire fixing man
mother and father in-law
come to stay,
wife a bitching, wants a bigger place
rent too high, place needs painting
social services come a calling
damn why is life so hard?
twang, bang twang, twang
I’m a truck tire fixing man
