I go to the mailbox to retrieve Christmas cards and letters from family and friends.
When these are received, it is like time stands still...it never ends.


Memories from the past, news of the present and hope for the future all rolled into that one envelope it seems.
It is part of what Christmas means.


The renewing of family, friendships and more.
It is something that never will be bought in a store.


A smile comes to my face when I see pictures or learn of progress made.
It is a wonderful feeling I would not want to trade.


I want to always hold family and friends close to my heart.
Christmas cards and letters are just a means in part.
