I Walk in Tulips

Comprehension comes creeping
From head to foot in incandescence
And for a while,
I walk in tulips.

Over fields of bobbing blossoms,
Soft violin-breezes blow melodies through me,
And for a while,
I float in flowers.

In this wondrous place
Is the presence of all I ever loved.
And You I see clearly now,
While I wait in tulips.
