Tears of Love

Tears of love, tears of joy
That is what they were,
They did run down my face,
Ran down my face when I saw her.

I stood wanting to go to her,
But my legs would not work.
I stood in the blowing snow,
Stood with tears of joy, tears of love.

My legs, I finally moved.
She stood looking at me.
I extended my arms, I tried to speak,
As tears of joy ran down my face.

We met, we touched, we hugged,
And I looked into her eyes.
My love, my one desire,
Tears of love ran down my face.

We kissed and then I spoke,
As tears of joys ran down my throat,
I love you, I said,
As tears of love we both shed.

Tears of Love

Tears of love ran down her sweet face
When she gazed at her newborn son
For a baby is instant love
Bringing much joy to everyone

And nothing in life can compare
Then to hold a child in her arms
A newborn baby brings with him
Sweetness with all of his charms

This child was born to a couple
With only love that they can say
And he came to them on that morn
Exactly on Valentines Day

Tears of Love

They say when true love happens
Soft rain comes down from the skies
Dewy, misty rain fell down
When I first looked in your eyes.

It wasn't really rain at all
That gently fell from up above
It was the joy of angels on high
Shedding tears of love.

Tears of Love

I watched you as you walked away.
Whistling and humming, quite chipper.
I felt my heart break that day.
And I wished you'd get stuck in your zipper!

You'd met someone with hair of gold.
Her flirting you had returned.
You made me feel tired and old.
But anger within me burned!

Tears trickled down my cheeks,
Feeling alone and oh so blue.
I knew that it would take me weeks
Before I got over you.

I remember those tears so very well.
And you and Goldilocks got married.
She's made your life a living hell,
No grudges have I carried.

Now you're old and ugly,,fat and bald.
And Blondie? Well, she got dafter.
The other day when you called?
I cried,,,with tears of laughter!

Tears of Love

Where are the tears
The tears of love
I once shed?

Drowning, drenching tears,
Of missing you,
The real you.

The true you I knew
You’d never be again,
Say Goodbye.

Suspect I that they
Are locked within my heart
For all eternity.

Tears of Love

Tears of love filled my eyes as you walked across that stage.
It meant so much to me to see you at that age.

You walked so proud and tall to get that degree,
A smile across your face for all to see.

The journey was a difficult one filled with turmoil and strife so hard,
But you persevered and made it in spite of all odds.

The university took snap shots to remember the occasion in May,
But the picture in my mind is there forever to stay.

There is no love greater than that of a Mother.
She is proud of her children as no other.

Tears of love filled my eyes to see you accomplish your goal.
I still feel that way today as I love you with all my heart and soul.
